Humeyra Caglayan is a Professor of Experimental Optics and Photonics. She focuses on engineering the fundamental interaction between light and matter at the nanometer scale. Her research topics include metamaterials, plasmonics, and quantum nanophotonics. She is a Professor of physics at Tampere University and leads the Metaplasmonics group.
